Dinah was made in about the course of one night to wear for Emerald City Comic Con 2015 to wear with Arsenal, since the majority of my time was spent the prior month making his distinct red leather coat from CW’s “Arrow”. I’d like to make a version of her in the future that has a real structured corset though, time allowing.
This was a combination of influences from the styles of Shunya Yamashita and the classic Bruce Timm. I patterned and sewed the bustier in about an evening, and already owned everything else like the faux leather jacket, fish nets, boots and gloves. The wig was a cheap curly wig purchased on Ebay and restyled and wefted to look voluminous more like Bruce Timm’s art style.
