Marvel’s Avengers
Inspired by the first Avengers movie, the first time I wore this, I decided on a hybrid between the movie and comics using my own hair, mostly because I couldn’t be bothered to wear a wig in Atlanta’s humidity for 5 hours. For the second wear, I used an Arda lace front wig to look closer to the Kotobukiya figure designed by Shunya Yamashita. Natasha is such a fun costume to wear, I can’t wait to make more versions!
Overall this was pretty easy to put together, the wet look lycra suit was re-used from a previous costume, arm bands from a gold prop bolero, belt made in under an hour from resin gems (cast by WindoftheStars) and painted foam; for the second wear, I remade the bullet bracelets to look more realistic, and my friend Jeff cast the rings around the belt resin. The MPK5 was provided by my friends.
