Ilyana’s character ranges from being a psycho devil to a bratty teen, so my liking of her ranges based on the writer of that particular comic. Still, I think I have a goal of cosplaying every Russian babe from Marvel. Because I’m plowing through them at a pretty decent pace.

I hoped to use a more spandex-based textiles for the suit, but due time constraints I used what I had on hand and had to bypass her metal arm. I ended up using a sheen black lycra and yellow interlock, which worked well with Illyana’s more classic design. Everything was patterned and made by me in two nights, wig was my old Sailor Venus wig that I trimmed, and sword provided by my friend Seth-Tate who also did our photoshoot with the amazing Nadia as fem Cyclops.
