Sailor Neptune has been my favorite – along with Sailor Venus – since I first watched Sailor Moon back in 1996. I figured that I should probably cosplay her after 15 years of creating fan sites and writing Sailor Moon fanfiction.
The original base of the costume and wig as made by Tristine Citrine, and since the costume has gone through years of wear and tear through different owners, I ended up remaking the gloves, replaced the shoes, made a new choker, and WindoftheStars was kind to give me a “pure heart crystal” that I still need to get photos with. The costume has since been returned to the original maker, but I hold such fond memories of wearing her with multiple friends from the Sailor Moon fandom.
